Light Box and Night Shots   October 21st, 2009 by jkuleto

I was trying really hard to make the white box “white” in my pictures, but I don’t think I quite got it in camera.  I tinkered with them in iphoto and got them to look pretty white, but I still need to work on getting it done in camera.   Then I headed out back and played a little…exaggerated the lines of the fern.  My favorite photo of the night has to be Rebecca in the double exposure.  First of all, so fun to play around with this – thanks Will!  And I thought it was great that Rebecca gave such real expressions…it made the shot!  Thank you Rebecca for having us all over there and for the delicious cookies:)

Tonights Activity   October 20th, 2009 by admin

So for those that missed out on our activity tonight, here are some of the shots I got. The light box was fun and we got some good pictures.

Costco makes some mighty fine cookies.

The outdoor shots when good and bad. The double exposures worked pretty well. Here’s what I got, though I know that other people got some better ones.

Firework attempts   July 5th, 2009 by willblatt

Most of these were taken between f/8 and f/14. I used bulb setting on all but a few, the others I used 20-30 sec timers. On a few of them I zoomed in/out in between fireworks on the same picture. I think that’s what give the crazy lines on some of them.
