Del Norte Exposed

I think for starters, I need to have more contrast in my photos. This was a fun place to take pictures, but I’m a beginner so what do I know?

This is my attempt at pictures from Balboa Park.

So we need to pick a day to meet in April.  I was think next week on Tuesday or Wednesday.  Who cannot make either one of those days?  Also, are there any conflicts with church/local activities/events?  If one day is better, be sure to post a comment below so we can plan accordingly.

Bryn and I think that Huntington Library would be an excellent place to take some pictures. The down side on that one would be the distance to travel to get there. It would be a great Place for some great shots especially with the contest at the Fair. Try the virtual tour
Another good sight would be the Meditation Gardens in Encinitas. That one is a little closer to home although the photos we take there can not be used to commercial use without permission. So no photos for the contest from the Meditation Gardens.

This was a fun activity.  There were lots of things to take pictures of.  The trick was to take an interesting pictures.  These are the ones that came closest to that.

I thought this was the hardest of any of the activities we’ve done so far.  Perhaps its because its hard to come up with ideas at places you’ve been to before.  I took almost 3 times as many photos as in previous outings to try and compensate for the lack of brainstorms.  Needless to say I tossed out a lot of photos this time.  The second photo (the one of the science museum) isn’t wonderful but I thought it was a cool effect.
